Founded in 1802, the historic Village of Evans Mills became an incorporated Village in 1874 and is located within the Town of LeRay. Evans Mills lies on the Indian River, and is just north of the Tughill Region and east of Lake Ontario. Evans Mills is filled with well preserved, extraordinary stone architecture which dates as far back as the 19th century creating an enchanting atmosphere within the Village.  Pleasant Creek Meadows is located less than a mile from the Village of Evans Mills surrounded by tranquil rolling hills, rich agricultural soils, and wetlands filled with rare wildlife. Away from the hectic pace of the city, The Village of Evans Mills is a friendly close-knit community that welcomes new residents and provides them with a sense of security.
